Level I Test
Acoustic Emissions (AE) as sometimes called is a load or stress test This test provides the customer with a good understanding of the structural integrity of each truck. The AE test can determine if pins or bolts are cracked or broken, if welds are cracked, if the fiberglass boom has delamination occurring and if metal and fiberglass joints are structurally sound.

Dielectric Test
The boom is provided a dielectric test to the manufacturing specification in accordance with ANSI A 92.2. If the boom has a lower insert a dielectric test is given to both upper and lower booms. Bucket liners are given dielectric test in accordance with ANSI A 92.2. A thorough visual inspection is given to each truck.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
If an abnormal condition involving a pin or bolt is noted during
the AE test this condition with be further evaluated to determine the location and extent of the noted deficiency.

Magnetic Particle Dye Penetrant
If an abnormal condition involving a weld is noted during the
AE test, the weld will be further evaluated to determine if
cracking or separation has occurred. Also, further evaluation
may be performed with UT depending on the findings.

Visual and Operational
A thorough visual and operational inspection is provided for each level of testing in accordance with ANSI A92.2, ANSI 10.31.
